What happened to Undead Prince Rurik? - Guild Wars Forums

THE most annoying thing ever to happen to me in GW just happened in the Hell's Precipice mission. I had to hench it, being a W/Mo, so I had to go extra slow and be extra careful about how I played. I finally get to the fight with rurik and lure him and his sparks to the ramp and kill them all. I skip the stupid little cutscene so I could finally cap Hundred Blades. I get all ready and hit the cap sig icon on my skill bar and WTF???!!! His body is nowhere to be found. The message pops up that there are no dead bosses in the area! After all that effort I can't cap my skill? That has to be some serious BS. What happened?

After the cutscene, you end up out of range of where you killed him. Did you try backtracking?

Went all the way back to where the portals were. Screw prophecies, Ill just cap it in Cantha.

before you do, read up on the other sword elites, I have dragon slash and hundered blades, and I find that dragon slash is better, since it partly recharges itself, and was WAY easyer to cap then hundered blades in cantha

He's DEAD.

He's not on portal he's on the hill. And I find not using a adrenal skill to charge adrenal faster but I admit to no hard number crunching.
